I was talking to a guy who said to drain the oil and put 5-6 quarts of diesel in the crankcase and run it for a very short time. He said this would flush the engine. Has anyone ever tried this? Sounds like it would work with very little damage to the engine given the lubricaiton of diesel and it's cleaning properties.
Another is to put a quart of Transmission fluid in your gas tank every 5K miles (with a full tank of gas) as an upper cylinder lube. Anyone ever heard of this?
