I've got two 9000s... and have a spare set of steel wheels with mounted Gislaved (Gislavad?) snows for each. 195-65-15s. I'd recommend you get a package of wheels/tires from either tirerack.com or from CRS.
I've been looking for a place to buy a couple replacement snows... my wife shredded one last winter and one of mine developed an unusual tread wear pattern due to a defect in the tire, so I need to replace a couple of the Gislaved tires... but I haven't been able to find a seller on the Web yet.
As for the belt, if you're not sure when it was replaced, do it. $30 and a bit of muscle, but it will be worth the peace of mind. The tensioner only needs to be replaced if it comes apart when you take all the tension off of it... and if it goes, it usually takes out the belt within just a few miles. Been there, done that. You can make the tool for holding the tensioner out of 5/16" rod easily enough.
