Hi all again, my -94 CSE has had an intermittent SRS code 25321 ever since 1996.... the local dealer has tried to fix it 6 times w/o success..... I have full documents since day 1. They've tried to clean the contacts at both ends of the left front sensor wiring. No components replaced so far. The code stays away for a week or a year - depends.
I remember seeing some discussion about low starting voltages triggering ghost codes. Any news on this? The SRS "box" is fed by two different routes from +15 (fuses 4 and 13). Are the voltages compared? The other one is referred to as "reference" in the factory book (in Finnish). I've cleaned the front sensor grounding too, but not the G20 which grounds the "box".
Any recommendations before I pull the bulbs / start to replace expensive components? It's getting real annoying and I need a "fix" before the next annual inspection.....
Other than that the car runs perfect, 330.000km on clock and no major problems. Even the clutch is still original (2.3 FPT CC stage 3). Not bad. For a Swede, I mean.....
Best regards from Finland,
Tapani
PS The Nokian Hakkapeliitta 4 (with square studs) are awsome winter tires !
