...for anyone who wants to make more power and more boost.
i'm not sure what year and model car you have, but for any car you'll need computer (or computers) upgraded before you can really start with any other modifications.
they are the "most bang for your buck".
As far as boost goes, the new performance programs that are present in the computer allow for higher peak boost levels, and longer hold times on the peak boost levels, and also when the peak tapers off, higher tapered off boost levels.
for example: my car stock had a program like 12 psi max peak at 3krpm to 3.5 krpm then taper off to 10 psi to 6krpm.
My upgraded computer program peaks 20 psi at 3krpm and hold it to 4krpm, then tapers to 15psi until 6krpm
As you can see... there is more boost to be had from an upgraded computer system.
But not only the boost levels need to be raised, the fuel maps also need to be upgraded to perfectly match the boost curves.
In all of the areas of the rpm range where boost was raised, the fuel output will need to be raised too... to keep the air fuel rations as best as possible.
SO once you start getting more air and more fuel, you start making MORE POWER!
and all you need to do is swap out the computer...
like i said, more bang for your buck!
what kind of car are you driving? I'll help you find a computer...
