Auto to 5 speed conversion

Got words from John at Rum's Garage he is going to send me the matching drive shafts for the smaller FPT drive cups. So I can now proceed to put the drivetrain together when parts arrive. The drive shafts won't hold me up doing the rest of the work. When this is done the 94 cde, originally FPT, will be like a LPT going through FPT conversion because it will have a set of smaller drive cups the same size as the 150 hp cs and 170 hp LPT. That is if I have not screwed up and won't screw up during the process.
Maybe it is the devil's doing, tempting me to get this bargain for $250 sight unseen. So far I have put in hours too many to track to convert it to 5 speed and there is no telling how many more. Took a day off last week. Drove all the way to Mass. from Jersey to get the parts for conversion. I am still waiting for
the turbocharger and plumbing,
slave cylinder,
oil cooler lines,
drive shafts,
to make it complete.
I have never taken apart the drive shafts of the 9k. Is it difficult?
