Fix the mounts and exhaust and keep it till you get an engine or tranny problem. Your bro-in-law will easily be able to do the mounts and the exhaust. Ball joint issue is easy too, then just have it aligned somewhere.
You're not going to get anything useful by selling it at this point, and I'm sure its worth more to you than anyone else. It seems like Saabs will get a little hungry for repairs every now and then...but if you keep fixing the little things it will forever.
Keep it for now till ya get some cash to get a newer one...Then keep it as a winter or spare car until it finally dies or you feel like donating it.
