wondered if you resolved this issue, sounds like your heater core and or attachments to such, That pipe you are talking about is the evaporater drain pipe, its on the bottom of the car, it drains the area between the false firewall and the real one. The hoses to the heater core could have blown, or you heater core is blown, remove the large flap at the back of the engine compartment, the one thats just before the wiper blades ad you will see the two heater hoses that come from the engine to the core, thats the well that the pipe at the bottom drains. 99 percent says heater core...let us know the outcome...
