... then consider buying a nice open air filter setup from taliaferro saab. They are under $100... about $90, plus a little for shipping...
and i think they are one of the best kits available for 9000's.
It's an entire kit that connects directly to your air mass meter... or air intake pipe if you don't have an amm, and sits where your stock airbox currently is.
You'll never have to replace it for the life of the car, and it will only need to be cleaned every once in a while, like whenever you think about it, every few years or so, depending on how dusty your climate is or how much dirt you drive through...
check out the picture of the filter... it's BIG... and sucks in lots of AIR FAST AND FREELY...
it's not really considered a "COLD AIR" intake system, because it's not open to oncoming air directly where it is located, inside the drivers fender compartment, just behind the drivers turn signal...
...but... it is sucking more of the air in there... so... yeah... buy one! ;)
check it out at this link... it's on sale for $87!
it should only take an hour to install by a professional mechanic...if you can't do it yourself... so throw another $50 at it, and you got it on your car!
they make a kit that will fit on all 9000's
