dave thanks,
not seriously yet.
the upper mounts are cracking.
i have two types of noises:
a click that happens when i turn the steering right or left, even if the car isn't moving. that sounds like it's coming from steering column area.
buck suggested things needed to be tightened, hopefully
the other sounds like it's coming from right behind the right wheel area, i rode around on the hood while my wife drove (not quickly as she's a loving wife) and i could hear it click or slightly clunk coming from wheel well area.
i haven't yet researched how to check motor mounts to make sure i know what i'm doing, but it sounds again like it's worth checking.
any tips on how to confirm?
i'm going to have to get under car to check buck's suggestions on steering soon.
