If your top mounts are going, the lowers are suspect. Here's a link to Quasi's procedure to inspect the lower mounts. As stated before, my car had the top bolts of the lower mounts work themselves loose (perhaps the mounts were replaced by a previous owner), this was a tough one to find, as the mounts looked fine.
You may also want to tighten all the subframe bolts, they are easy to access and do loosen over time. There are two on each front corner (Haynes' torque spec is 37 ft-lbs, Chapter 7), four on each rear corner (41 ft-lbs), two or three on each side-to-side beam junction. Do not over tighten, as breaking one would be a real pain!
