David's right. It's not unusual for a 9k to leak a bit of oil from either end of the head gasket. The head is actually longer than the block and meets with the timing chain cover and bellhousing (I believe) at each end.
However, I seem to recall reading that some of the later cars had problems with loose head bolts. Perhaps someone else will jump in, or you can search the board to see if this might be applicable to you.
