If your coolant level is halfway between the "MIN" and "MAX" markings on the reservoir when the engine is warm, then you are good to go. What is most probably happening is these left-hand corners are sloshing the coolant present in the reservoir far enough to one side of the container so that the coolant level indicator (a doughnut-shaped ring magnet device which is centered on a pole inside the reservoir; this ring floats atop the coolant fluid, and if it comes too close to its sensor at the bottom of the reservoir, it signals a low coolant level) is able to bottom out (or at least come close enough) and indicate a low coolant level. You can add some fluid to the reservoir to bring the level up to the "MAX" marking when warm; this will give you the peace of mind you're looking for.
