I regularly, whenever possible, do my very favorite thing - and
that's accelerating UP the really big hills on the interstates
here in Vermont - passing everyone while getting to somewheres
over 90, sometimes maybe 100 or so is just great fun - and since
most folks stay far to the right while their wimpy cars =gasp=
up those hills, I just have to be ready in case some wingnut
gets fiesty and tries to make that Escort speed up and pass.
Bearing in mind that I am not a young guy, and otherwise a
very careful and successful driver - I do what I do by my own
choice, and know it could mean big trouble - and if I meet a
tree that way, it's OK, I'll die smiling !!
I didn't get an amazingly roadworthy car to be a plodding
slug - how can anyone be a happy Saaber if they don't use
these cars to do what they were designed to do ??
There, just my 2 cents.
(When I was a young feller, my favorite thing was to get
on the interstate with my racing bike, open it wide, go
just one exit, get off, get back on - do it again, and
then park it behind my high school, and resume classes
after lunch.....it made the nasty teachers MUCH more
tolerable....now my 'bike' is an Aero !)
