Was concerned about NO with mine, not because it failed but that it might. Bought it from a dealer, e-test was done (Ottawa Ontario), but due to a problem with the automatic the dyno test could not be done so they only did the 2 speed test, which does not measure NO.
I wrote to drive clean and the MOT to ask for an exemption from the full test, wouldn't grant it, nor admit that there was a flaw in their system. Garages here can do the 2 speed test in place of the full test at their discretion, in cases such as traction control that can't be turned off, or all time 4 wheel drive. Drive clean guys reason for no full test on mine was TCS.
Just had the test done, 'no off switch for TCS' (and no on either, 96 9000 CS). 2 speed was done, 0.00% CO (limit is 1%), 6 ppm for HC (limit is 200).
Maybe you can find a place that will just do the 2 speed? I went to a 10 minute oil change place that only did testing and no repairs.
