hello there!
Sometimes, the computer system on saabs gets errors in it, and causes some whacky things to happen. I think it's caused by some of the chips in a "bad state", the chips on the circuit board.
whatever the cause, all you need to do to correct this is to reset the computer.
The easiest way to do that is to unhook the battery overnight. Some computers take longer than other in my experience to reset... and the easiest way to be sure is to disconnect the positive battery termina., followed by the negative, then leave the car overnight while you sleep (cause it's not like yo'ull be driving it anywhere! ;)
then in the morning, hook up the negative followed by the positive... and start her up.
i'll bet you anything that your car will idle correctly now.
don't ask me why the idle gets screwy, it just does...
i use this method all the time on my car to fix my idle, and IT'S FREE
you should try it and please post if it works for you
