when changing a water pump on a 97 CSE, do you .. Posted by John Fitzgerald [Email] (#77) [Profile/Gallery] (more from John Fitzgerald) on Mon, 3 Jan 2005 21:40:29 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
need a large Torx bit (40 or 50) referred to in other posts for removing the A/C compressor? Or is the bracket different than the earlier years / pre 2.3 liter engines?
I'm lining up the parts & tools for the job next week -- if I do need the Torx, is it the 40 or the 50?
My son's CSE is turning into a black hole of time and money. While doing the rear brake rotors today, I could hear a rattle at idle -- the water pump pulley jiggles every minute or so, with a rattle & slight grinding noise. Tensioner, idler, and serp belt = all new last summer.
This plus my drivers door regulator AND rear wiper motor on my Aero.
How does the car know it's winter when it's time to break?
Thanks,
