My 9000 CSE still has the original factory installed cartride ('97 9K CSE t, aut.)100k miles.
I also noticed some indications inside the cartridge and I am wondering what they might "tell" me.
How long will this kind of cartridge last? I hate (of course) a breakdown alongside the road when I am far from home.
Just to replace such an expensive part does not satisfy me.
May be the old one will last for another 50K and just having a spare in the trunk can lay there for years to come.
In a post, some day ago, i asked the BB how to test the ignition cartridge in order to determine the status of the cartridge.
May be some of yours may have a clever and helpful answer to my questions.
Thanks a lot,
Paul Broeckx
