When you pull the switch from the dash (you don't have to remove it all the way) there is a hole on the right side of the case. Any small flat-blade screwdiver will fit (a jeweller's screwdriver may be too small). Just engage the slot in the back of the bulb, turn it 1/4 turn to the left (counter-clockwise) and then give the switch a good rap on the left side to dislodge it.
The bulb is a sub-miniature with a green plastic sleeve, soldered into a little plastic carrier. There were some posts on this a week or so ago that I was involved in. I found the plastic carrier to be too small to sucessfully unsolder the bulb; others posted that they had sucessfully unsoldered it without damage to the carrier and soldered in a new one. I would say that unless you are very experienced with soldering of very small objects, just buy a new bulb assembly (bulb and carrier) from a Saab dealer.
