Like Bill said, it's possible you may not see the problem, because they're not always as easily seen as on mine.
If you have it open and have your soldering iron handy, you may as well rework the joint anyway to see if it helps. Since it's only the high beam that you're having the intermittent problem with, I'd try it on the lamp control relay (the smaller square one), which switches the high/low beams. With the two cars I've seen, the lamp control relay was the problem, and the headlight relay was okay, but YMMV.
Only thing to be careful of is not to bridge two adjacent contacts; then you'd have to remove all the solder again and start over. They're not really tough to do, but it also depends on what kind of iron you have. Hopefully not a soldering gun-
