on my '97 aero, but 2 days ago after driving for 15 minutes, it came back very bright.I stopped and did my errands, then back in the car and dim again, only to brighten up as I got close to home. In the last 2 years , this is the first it has brightened during daylight...... it's only been readable at all when I have the headlamps on. I've been living with this as only a minor annoyance, but now I'm curious as to the cause after seeing this discussion today. I will probably try the pry method mentioned, but will likely wait for warm weather and spring here in upstate NY. Is the circuit connected to a light sensor that could be causing the situation ?
