A we talking about the 88-9000 that sat for 2 years? If so the fuel injectors are dirty and are leaking fuel at low rpm+can't pass enough at high rpms. You need to clean the injectors. The best would be to remove them and have them cleaned on a machine and then flow tested.
Another way would be to triple the dose of Chevron Techron Fuel Injection in the fuel tank and run the car for a few minutes an hour for a number of hours until the problem clears up.The Techron cleans by solution thats why i want you to run the car, shut it off,let the cleaner soak on the deposits for an hour the run the car until it heats up(flushing away some deposits),again shut it down, let it soak, ect.until the problem clears up.If you run it on the street it's going to take longer to clean up.
