I did the same test, just for an eperimentation,
I have no starting troubles, neither cold or warm.
I detached the connector on the DI, to make the car not starting
I hotwired the hazard fuse (22) and the fuel pump (14) as described by Winger. Fuel pump starts running (not a surprise) BUT BUT after switching on the hazard light and crancking the engine NO NO hazards flashers at all.
After reattaching the DI, the car starts immedeately ans still no hazards lights flashers during cranking.
What is this all about testing the CPS by means of seeing the hazard lights flashing????
Just curious, and checking "procedures" on this BB, to see it will work in case i will face a similar problem in the future.
Do I put faith in this test?
Thanks,
Paul Broeckx
