Why ask us? Ask your engine this....Would you prefer to be lubricated with with a substance that will provide superior lubrication over a longer period and resist viscosity and molecular break down due to sheer and compression stresses placed on it by pressure and heat? or...Would you like to be lubricated with a substance that will deteriorate with heat, pressure and create contaminates that lead to sludge and sulfuric acid build that leads to premature engine wear...etc?
My engine told me to use synthetic...so, I complied. Hey...I did not have a choice. And, my engine has rewarded me with many happy bursts of joy.
