I published this a couple days ago and had a few suggestions... Since then I have taken the entire dashboard apart and wiggled and reconnected every connector I could find. None of them seem to control the EDU unit. My EDU works when I turn the car on, but after starting the car it blinks out after a few second. The car runs fine, but I would like the EDU to work... Basically it shuts off, the fuel needle drops to empty and the blower will not turn back on if it is shut off. This might make driving a little dangerous if the inside of the car fogs up. Anybody have any ideas why this is happening... Every time I turn the car back on all these things work for a couple second... Yesterday I hit a bump and it blinked on, that is why I thought it was one of the connectors... But I can not find any connectors that I can unhook and make the EDU not work...

This is what I posted before... I still have the dashboard apart so I can quickly try any ideas that you post...

I recently purchased a 1990 Saab 9000 CD Turbo, I love it! But I was driving it last week and the info gauge (the thing that tells you how many miles left in tank, your average mpg, etc) went blank. At the same time the gas gauge needle went to the empty position, though there is still gas in the tank and the acc blower does not work. When I turn the car on, all these things work for about a minute, then they all shut off again. The acc light, it is a green light, stay on, and the lights behind the gas gauge stay lit. Anybody have any idea? Also where is the cabin air filter located? Thanks so much for your help, I love this site!
