The connectors for the EDU and gauges... Posted by turrbo [Email] ![]() ![]() ![]() In Reply to: 1990 Saab 9000 CD Turbo, problem with EDU, etc..., Ken Barton, Sun, 13 Mar 2005 13:05:30 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Are located at the very bottom of the instrument cluster. The EDU connector is long and black and is a PITA to unhook. I haven't had my cluster out for about a year, so I don't remember where the gauges hook up, but I think its also at the bottom.
The fact that your ACC situation coincides with the EDU issue makes me think that its not a connector issue. It really sounds like it could be a connector thing, and by all means go out there and remove and reseat the connectors (blow some compressed air too), but the ACC thing confuses me. When you lose the blower, does the whole ACC panel stay lit? Also, I'd check the grounds under the dash. A lot of strange gremlins like this can be attributed to a bad ground. Below is a link to a site with wiring schematics (its for a '97, but the info will be similar)...Maybe sometihng in there might help you out.
