Which tool are you talking about? If youre worried about the one that holds the tensioner compressed, I've had luck using a 6" extension with a socket lodged into the notch below the tensioner. It seems almost like it was made for this. You use a breaker bar to loosen the belt and compress the tensioner, then insert the 6" extension with socket in between the lower nut on the subframe and the notch in the tensioner bracket. The weight of the engine (in my case at least) will hold the tensioner. YMMV. Good luck.
