I began Charging my A/C system using an all in one (that contatined Oil and 134a) The A/C system began to get cold right away but half way through the can it got warm, after removing the can ,the low side port began to shoot the freon back out!
When I installed the adapter I removed the orginal valve core, why would the adapter have a bad valve? and why suddenly did it not get cold? I realized liquid into the compressor was a potential danger, so I really eased the 134a into the compressor slowly as not to hydro-lock it.
OR
Whas the low side pressure so high, that it just blew past the valve? The high low side pressure could be because of a blockage in the system, maybe at the reciever or expansion valve?
I dunno just thinking out loud, should I buy a new valve and more freon and try it again?
