Thank you - and yes, I did take some pixs as I went along. Don't know how they will turn out though, these are very small bits and my camera isn't fantastic.
I must say that I am sort of disappointed at this outcome as the internal components themselves are of the highest quality. I mean I'm just a enthusiast and even I can tell you that blocking a 1/3 of the vent port with a wire will throw the core advantage of the technology (a friction free floating magnetized control disk) to one side in operation.
This BPC solution *should* actually be for all practical purposes a near perfect way to manage boost given that there are no friction parts in the loop. Heck, it's even easy to clean (no really small passages or springs).
There would be no cooling advantage by placing the wire where it is. It interrupts flow such that disk will naturally gravitate towards the brass ring/vent assembly in use and for the want of a an extra couple of mm of wire and the movement of the channel away from the vent - this unit should work perfectly for a lifetime.
Anyway - I think I will put the whole thing on my site with the pixs (if they turn out) sometime in the next couple of months. I'll flag the board when it happens.
Cheers. Hey - you wouldn't know of a SAAB specific MBC+A controller that took advantage all three air lines would you?
