These are based on readings on my SCC, which I find to be w/in 0.5 to 1.5 mpg higher than actual. The amount of difference is related to variables like strong winds, number of hills. This is with cruise control mostly engaged, on highways. This is often NY Thruway, between Albany & Rochester, various hills, usually windy.

Car is a '96 CSE 5-speed, currently with 110 K miles, running summer tires, Toyo Proxes FZ4, 205/55x16.

70 mph: 33-35 mpg
75 mph: 32-33 mpg
80 mph: 29-31 mpg (strong head/side winds have dropped this to 28 on occasion)

85 mph: 27 to 28

I have tried 10 to 20 mile runs locked on 60 and 65 and seen 36 to 39 mpg on the computer. Don't know how this would pan out over a longer run.

Note that on a typical trip from southern NH to Rochester, I have a 50/50 mix of rural 2-lane and NY Thruway. I Run the Thruway at 75-80. The 2-lane has places to be aggressive. I consistently average 29 mpg for this 360 mile run.
