As noted below, the hydraulics in the clutch on my '97 Aero stopped working suddenly. I found that the feed line from the resevoir had come off. I rectified that problem, now I can't seem to bleed the clutch. The Haynes manual says I need a pressure bleed kit. The only bleed kit I could find was a vacuum one, which should work in theory, however the pump only generates about 5psi of vacuum.
So my questions are:
How much fluid is in the clutch? I've added about 700ml, got back out about 200ml, and there still seems to be air in the system. Is there any way that air could be getting into the system, without showing any leaks? Could the problems with bleeding indicate a bad slave cylinder? Thanks for any info.
