I'm afraid that shortage will fry ECM

Steve, thanks for advice!
I tried to clean it couple times with electronic parts cleaner- no luck.
It looks like some people here had ECM diode fried because of bad BPC.
If I understand right, at certain point winds in BPC shorting to each other causing 12V go back to ECM and frying it.
I'm kinda scared of that.
203k on my 95 Aero with original BPC- it's time for new one.
But I feel your pain to showel $200!
