Pretty much any bolt that you loseen and tighten again in the front and rear suspension will alter the alignment, It all comes down to what perfectionist you want to be.
Ball joints are mounted to the control arm by three bolts. Those bolts and holes have a little bit of free play so the wheel can be moved in and out and little altering the camber, not much but a little.
Just like the upper strut mount to car body can be moved a little.
If the ball joints are badly worn and an alignment has been done recently, installing new ones will change the setting done earlier.
But I would suggest to get all suspension work done and then have a good shop do an alignment as long as you don't wait too long between.
