When measuring resistance into the control from the BPV connector, a good control should read in the Meg ohm range from the outer contacts to ground. I had one that measured 400 - 600 Ohms, the driver transistor was shorted. Best indications are the rest of the drive circuit is ok. Have to get the replacement transistor soldered in and give it a try. So far I have not sprung for 2 replacement BOV valves. Note, one T5 control was damaged by valve failure and the other was not.
