Need ASAP Advice on Blower Motor Problem

Blower motor suddenly stopped working yesterday. It worked fine on the drive to the office in the morning, but then when I started the car to drive home in the evening, no fan. THAT'S no fun down here in hot and humid Atlanta Georgia.
Here's the details:
-- No blown fuses.
-- Reset the ACC several times, but no change. At one point, the ACC showed error codes 1, then 2, during the reset, but now can't recreate that.
-- Manually depressing the fan speed buttons didn't change anything. The indicator light never would move from the lowest speed setting, regardless of my pressing the fan speed button repeatedly.
-- Blower motor replaced about 1 1/2 years ago. Did not replace the resistor/regulator at that time.
-- All vents are working normally, including the recirc and flap in the blower housing (can successfully adjust the temperature from hot to cold; can feel temperature changing when driving at speed).
Any ideas? I've heard that when the blower motor regulator (correct term?) goes, the fan runs on high. Since mine isn't running AT ALL, I don't know what to do.
Help!
TIA...
