Use rebuilt transmission car?

All,
I just got my 1995 Saab 9000 auto transmission replaced with a rebuilt one, after the original one broke and broke the torque converter too. Its funny because there was no indication of any problem and it just broke on the highway. The car has 103000 miles on it. How long in your experience and expertise, the rebuilt transmission would last? I have heard thats you cant get much out of a Saab after the transmission is replaced. Is that true? Is it worth it or should I just sell it off and get another used Saab?
Any and all help is appreciated. Thanks.
Sachin
