I put anti-squeal goop on both pads. The other thing you might try is to 'relieve' the leading edge of the pad. Basically, take a file and knock off the trailing edge of the inner and outer brake pads. With new pads, that edge tends to be very sharp, and can cause the pads to chatter as the rotor feeds in. If you round it slightly, that will reduce the tendancy.
However, brake squealing is due to pad vibration, and that can just be a combination of rotor, pad, and phase of the moon. The squeal may very well go away as the pads bed in. If a little more anti-squeal doesn't do the trick, try driving it for a couple of weeks and see if it goes away.
