The alarm siren has not worked since I got the car 6 months ago. A dealer hooked it up to a Tech2 and it is set for audible alarm. I measured the resistance of the horn/siren in the left fender, and it is about 5ohms. The opposite connector has 12V on it continuously, except when the alarm is set off, whereupon it pulses. Is this normal? It seems odd to me that it would have 12V supplied to it at all times.
