1. 92 9000S. It sat for a couple weeks in humid weather, and now the AC smells like a pond when I turn it on. I am assuming mold??
Click and clack mentioned something the other day about a product called Frigi-Fresh you spray in the air intake with the AC on, any thoughts or ideas on this one?
2. Alarm started going off the other night in middle of the night, this time it wasn't someone breaking in (couple months ago they did that), I turned off the motion sensor (held key to right until bleeped), and it went off again right away.
I noticed the rear view mirror light was flickering before the alarm went off, is this a possible clue? Could it be a door actuator telling the alarm the door is opening while locked??
3. AC is getting cool instead of cold. Looks like original compressor. Had it filled about a year or year and a half ago at a local drive up AC recharge place (this is Miami), I'm guessing it was designed for R12, right? It's not the R134 style I have in my 93. Any ideas on what the shop put in the compressor, do shops still put R12 in if it was designed for it, I never thought to ask. I paid em $40.
Thanks for any replies...
