Thanks for the reply. I've read many of your posts while researching this subject. I have a spare DI and will swap it out to see if it makes any difference.
However, I'm not sure the turbo/apc gauge description in my original post accurately communicated the position of the needle. I've seen some older models where the left third of the boost gage was yellow, the center third orange, and the right third red. However, on my model (without night illumination), the first two-thirds of the gauge are white, the last third begins with three orange slashes followed by a solid orange section. With night illumination, the left third illuminates green.
I believe when the needle travels into the far right solid orange section it indicates an overboost condition, which will cut off fuel to reduce overboost. If anyone else reading this knows for sure, please reply.
