I'm not making it up. I won't argue that my driving style is somewhat less aggressive than previously as I got a speeding ticket 10 minutes after install. But I still womp on it on on ramps and the obligitory act of smoking bmw's, audi's, and TSI's. I drive about 60% highway, but while in the city I sit in parking lots and idle for a long time.
I calculated it based on gallons used versus miles driven, my SID wasn't too far off.
It's been 95 degrees here in Denver and I'm constantly running with the AC on.
My car has 140,000 miles on it and is in very good shape. I run Mobil 1 full synthetic, changed every 5000 and I use Valvoline Synpower fuel system cleaner every 10,000.
I run my tire pressure at 44psi
I run Shell V-power octane 91
Basically, I've done all the things that I've learned about on this board and I'm just reporting what I'm finding. It's probably a combination between the hardware, software and driving style. It appearantly doesn't seem too far off of the norm. There must be variances in cars based on maintenance and conditions, fuel etc..
Or it could be I installed the Tornado!--Just kidding about that part.
