I put in a stock one... Posted by turrbo [Email] ![]() ![]() ![]() In Reply to: Can someone recommend a Boost Gauge to me?, Richard Chang, Mon, 18 Jul 2005 07:36:21 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Because I really only wanted it to look cool and telling me a general idea of where my boost was. The stock gauges are far from exact, but you can get a good idea where base boost is and what the normal boost should be.
I just got a used instrument cluster, popped out the side where the boost gauge is, and popped it in place of my old one. I hooked up the vac line, put the dash back together, and I had a boost gauge.
If you really wanted a calibrated gauge, then go aftermarket. But I didn't really care about being too precise, and I like the way the stock one looks.
