I know this frustration..chances are its a small thing.
Unfortunately current weather doesn't let you back off and think it thru, will cool off Thursday dramatically, please dont give up... Did you check the relay?
Scenario 1
If your AC system makes cold air but the cold air is not entering the cabin
(1)If you manually fire the compressor with 12V will the cabin cool down?
(2) Do you feel cold air entering the evaporator box coils ? If you touch the coils throw an opening, are they cold?
(3) if you are getting cold flow to the evap box, but no farther, are you loathe to pulling the dash top panel, you can access all the ductwork from there (2 Screws are both speaker sides,1 hidden under some trim on the airbag/glovebox area, total of 5)
Scenario 2
No cold air to evap box coils
(1) Check the Relay
(2) Check hi side pressure
