in my '93 CSE. It and my 2 '95's were quite a bit smoother and softer than my earlier ones. Initially, I saw this as an improtvement...and went on to a '99 9-5. It was even smoother and softer... after about 18 mos, I started to get bored with the car...but kept it to the term of the lease (42 mos/97k). The last 2 years, I was yearning for another 9000. I drove a '91, and the adreneline was again gushing! I haven't looked back or forward! As "Traaveler" ages and adds miles, and repairs, I think about another 9-5....but I think, if forced, I'll just quit and buy another brand instead. I have added a Mazda3 as a partial DD to extend the useful life of Traaveler...it is the modern embodiment of the c900! But, I don't beleve there is a capable replacement for a well maintained 9000.
My 2 cents.
