I sold my SPG a few months ago, but I'm Saab-less no more. I bought a 1991 9000 turbo yesterday - manual transmission, of course.
Anyway, on the drive home, the car started overheating in stop-and-go traffic. It seems the radiator fan wasn't running. I think I got lucky and got the fan working after unplugging and reinserting the relays.
Anyway, I was going to order a new lower-temp thermoswitch, but to my suprise, the current thermoswitch only has two wires coming off of it, but the wireness harness it plugs into has three wires. My car has that gold colored resistor, so I thought my car should have the three-wire switch.
Do you think its safe to order a three-wire replacement switch?
Thanks for any insight,
Karl
