Yeah, I would say my 9000 sounds pretty good. I think I'll take it for a drive tomorrow, it's been a week now. Also will clean it up for the guy that wants to buy it. He's an audio afficianado too, so I know he'll appreciate the system. It went through a whole heck of a lot of head units and amplifiers, not nearly so many speakers though. In fact, I still have the same front and rear woofers that I put in shortly after I first got it, same tweeters too, in the rear. Crossovers have been played around with over the years. Anyhow...
Not sure about the Suzuki sound system. I am researching it right now actually. It's a none-standard shape hole to fill in the dash, so until somebody comes out with a dash kit to adapt that to a normal size aftermarket stereo, not much I can do. However, I do love the ergonomics of the stock stereo (even not counting the great controls on the steering wheel). So, I am strongly considering keeping the stock head unit and just using a RF modulator to create an input for a portable MP3 player like an iPod or Rio or whatever. Of course I most likely will be replacing the factory speakers, though. The factory system also has a subwoofer under the front seat, but being a 4" woofer, I hardly think it qualifies. So that will need to be disconnected and a proper subwoofer put in somewhere.
