I had a slightly different problem with my '91 Turbo. The throttle would fluctuate wildly upon warming. I did multiple things, building up a decent set of spares in the process: AIC, AMM, DI, and an O2 sensor. It ended up being my Hall effect sensor (Crankshaft Position Sensor), but your symptoms don't indicate the same as mine did (or for that matter any classic interpretation of that problem).
I seems that the ECU is taking the throttle in the wrong direction in your case. This could point to a failing sensor or something mechanical in the throttle area. I'd spray the springs at the throttle linkage, just to be safe, but I doubt it is that simple...it never is.
More experienced minds than mine need to chip in here.
Good luck.
