Hey everyone,

I've been researching exhaust systems for a 93+ 9000. I have an Aero myself and will need to replace the exhaust within a year or so. Here's a list of all the system's I've found (minus the custom-made ones at a local shop and the OEM parts (Starla, etc...) available:

Jak Stoll Performance 3" aluminized downpipe/cat $350
Jak Stoll Performance 3" aluminized catback system $400
Total from turbo-back $750

Group 9 Performance 3" stainless turbo-back $1249

GenuineSaab 3" JT aluminized turbo-back (no cat) $539
GenuineSaab 3" JT aluminized cat-back $371

Swedish Dynamics Fox 2 1/2" stainless cat-back $649

SaabSavior 2 1/2" stainless turbo-back $790

TheSaabSite 2 1/2" Simmons sport (aluminized?) cat-back $350

Engstrom 2 1/2" stainless cat-back $450

I know this has been talked about before, but I'm hoping to pull together the latest opinions in one thread. What does everybody prefer? What about a 3" downpipe and cat with 2 1/2" cat-back? Is 2 1/2" a good performance gain (better spoolup and flow) over stock if you're not planning on modding to 300+ hp?

I'm thinking (I live in the salt belt) that the SaabSavior full stainless turbo-back seems like a pretty good value.

Has anyone ever attempted any group buys on an exhaust?
