Well, they should have a thin plastic housing around the metal part of the sensor, probably to insulate them electrically and as a secondary motive, to keep them from getting stuck. I've never had a problem removing them on my cars, but after you remove the one screw holding it in, I would think that you'd be able to pry up the bottom of the top plastic part with a flathead screwdriver. I assume that you aren't too concerned if you break it, since it is already broken. If it takes more than that and it is absolutely welded in there, punching it out from the bottom of the hum assembly may be the only way (must remove the CV joint to do this), but that seems way too extreme. I would try dousing it with PB Blater and then try prying it out.
