'95 CS I think, man, this is a really nice car, especially for a kid.
And with just 140K or so on it, it should see her through college. Sure a used Honda or Yota would do the same, but they need repairs too as the miels add up. And if she's out in in her 9K in a blizzard, or worse, gets in an accident, the added maintenance costs are worth every penny.
It's true that the average new Hyundai/Kia buyer is often better off buying the econobox than a used higher end car due to repair issues, but with the right Saab (or Volvo/Audi/BMW, etc) they can have a lot more fun for not necessarily a lot more money. Depends on what they can deal with in terms of keeping a car.
