I'm just a little bit confused...I have everthing off this engine but the oil pan. It leaks and needs to be resealed. I cannot, for the life of me, see how I will ever remove the rear bolts without removing the drive shaft from the tranny to the inner axle joint. Is this really how the procedure was designed? I have the haynes manual and have searched this site, finding only that it isn't supposed to be an easy job and "remove the front bolts, then remove the rear bolts." Seems like a lot of dismantleing to add some silicon...any help would be appreciated.
